Nicky Larson - Laura From episode 100 - "Atomic blackmail - part 1". Original production pencil sketch (genga) created for the animated adaptation of Tsukasa Hojo's manga. Graphite and colored pencil. Produced by Sunrise between 1987 and 1991. Very good condition. Slight traces of use consistent with age and studio handling. 27.2 x 24 cm Certificate of authenticity. Rare scene depicting Laura under the influence, stabbing Nicky. From the cult double episode "Atomic Blackmail". In the epilogue, Laura, manipulated and holding the detonator for an atomic bomb, shoots Nicky in the thigh. Nicky manages to free her from her grasp by shooting the earrings visible in this genga. At the end of one of the most poignant and tense sequences of the entire series, Nicky, holding Laura in his arms, finally defuses the bomb with a precision shot and declares his love for Laura before kissing her.
