Asian art

From the late 19th century onward, notably thanks to the World's Fairs, these non-Western arts profoundly influenced various European movements and artists, such as Gauguin, Giacometti, Braque, André Breton, and Picasso.
Currently, and for the past several years, Asian art has experienced exponential growth within the French art market. France has thus earned a reputation as one of the premier destinations for collectors of Chinese, Japanese, Tibetan, Korean, and Southeast Asian art.

Our sales include ceramics, lacquerware, jades, and bronzes, as well as cloisonné, enamel, and wood artworks, highlighting the refinement of Asian art and, through it, all key dynasties and periods.

Islamic art encompasses a selection of artworks dating from the 7th century to the 20th century, covering objects originating from the Mediterranean shores all the way to Southeast Asia and China.

The auctions feature works on paper such as manuscripts, paintings, and drawings, alongside fine craftsmanship pieces like ceramics, metalwork, textiles, weaponry, and jewelry. These specialties serve as true treasure troves for discovering wonders and curiosities.
